Stop # 4 on Fearless Destiny Virtual Book Tour is up.

I’m doing a happy dance

When a reviewer agrees to review a book there is an unwritten code that they will review carefully. Nancy Fraser did just that today.  She found the central questions in Fearless Destiny and asked them. “Can Tiffany give up her new-found independence and do what’s expected of her? And what about Will? Is he just passing through or is their romance destined to last?”

When there aren’t any stars or other indications of a rating, a reader reads the review and gleans what they think will be of value to them. I believe that readers will enjoy reading Nancy Fraser’s review and will consider purchasing Fearless Destiny as a story they would like to experience. In fact, one of Nancy’s followers, just commented that they will look for Fearless Destiny on Amazon. Whoopee!

Check out Nancy’s review on Notes From a Romantic’s Heart.

Nancy Fraser is an award winning writer who lives in Atlantic Canada. Check out her novels, too.

The first day of a book review tour for Fearless Destiny

My first review stop on this tour is at Room with Books.

It is the Christmas season and I slept in. I knew this review would be up early, but sometimes it is easier to sleep rather than face comments about a book I have spent years and hours researching, writing, editing, and sending it out on its own into the world.

With coffee in hand, I had a wonderful surprise. “I am very pleased to offer Fearless Destiny by Annette Bower five steaming hot cups of Reviews by Room With Books coffee.”

Thank you Room with Books for your careful and thoughtful reading of Fearless Destiny.

One well placed ‘No’ changed Tiffany’s life. When Will is in her life she finds a way.

Visit Room with Books.com . There is a chance to win a GC but also a chance to read about other authors and my fabulous review as well.

From the bottom of my heart.

We’re putting ourselves out there

Our bags are packed and we're wearing our best smile

Day 1 and Day 2 of My Virtual Book Review Tour

Moving Forward

Moving Forward

Way back when, February 4-8 to be precise, I began a virtual book review tour with Woman of Substance through Goddess Fish Promotions. I had a bit of a rocky start with a three star review but I took a deep breath and knew that as readers reviewers have differing opinions and read in different ways. The rest of the week showed four and a half stars etc. The grades are fleeting. Made it through the first week. Saw my sales on Amazon bump up. I can’t tell what is happening on B&N,Kobo or Soul Mate Publishing’s site. Thank goodness, I could spend all day just checking to see if a book is purchased on every site.

I decided on a different strategy this time around. Rather than bombard my Facebook public, my twitter followers, my mailing list and my blog followers with constant prompts about reviews, I broke the two weeks with two weeks in between. I think it works well.

The benefit of a virtual book is that the bricks and mortar store cannot remove the book that isn’t selling right off the press.

Yesterday was the first day of my second week of my virtual book review tour. The first review was on Opinionated Consumer http://reviews.brooklynberrydesigns.com/2013/02/woman-of-substance-book-review.html
I did as I have done when I open the link, I peak for the grade, stars, flowers, crowns, but there wasn’t a grade. There were Brooke’s thoughts: “I was pleasantly surprised to see that this is a Canadian author, and loved that it look place in Regina, Saskatchewan. I loved that the book was interesting and exciting, but still clean enough I could recommend it to my 16 year old niece and not blush. The plot was realistic and the story entertaining.” . . . You will have to click through to Brooke’s blog and read the rest.

Today, I am over at Welcome to My World of Dreams reviewed by Judy Thomas. http://www.jhthomas.blogspot.ca/2013/02/book-review-woman-of-substance-by.html Again, I peaked through my fingers, again no stars, flowers, crowns but Judy’s insights. “With a fascinating look at falling in love with the inner person, instead of just the outside, Ms. Bower has penned a touching and powerful romance with Woman of Substance.” . . .

Book reviewers amaze me with their dedication to reading many books and their talent to provide readers with information which allows them to decide if the book is right for them.

There are so many choices out there and thank goodness because we all read differently.

Drop by Brooke’s review and then search her page for her Brooklyn Berry Designs page and carry on to her Canadian Blogs etc. You never know what you will discover.

After that control plus click onto Judy Thomas’s page read her other reviews and her work. Again you will discover something that will be just what you might need at the exact moment you need to find it.

Thank you for stopping by my blog page.

Woman of Substance is on a virtual book review tour: Today is the first day and it is a 3 star review and a 5 flower review

Wish I could read to all of you

Reading from Woman of Substance

The postcard link on the front page will take you to the tour page of Godddess Fish. There you will see the review schedule.
Or for today, you can click on Teena in Toronto at: http://www.teenaintoronto.com/2013/02/book-woman-of-substance-2012-annette.html

At the end of the tour, I will create a list of all those who stopped by and commented during the tour and enter them into a random draw for a Gift Card to Amazon.

Teena says, “If you are looking for something different in romance, you should check it out.”

Woman of Substance is also reviewed on It’s Raining Books. http://www.its-raining-books.blogspot.ca/2013/02/woman-of-substance-by-annette-bower.html

The reviewer wrote:”This book was nothing like I expected, and ended up being so much more than I’d hoped. It could have been full of preachy clichés , but instead it was just a real, honest story.”

Rated 5 Flowers – I loved this book! It’s on my keeper shelf! I highly recommend it.”

Drop on over to both reviews and garner information about Woman of Substance.

Tomorrow I will be at Queen of All She Reads http://queenofallshereads.blogspot.com/
