First Born Novel
What a wonderful twelve months this has been for my writing career. On December 24th, 2011, Moving On, A Prairie Romance http://www.amazon.com/Moving-On-Prairie-Romance-ebook/dp/B006SHAWES was published by XoXo Publishing(TM)http://www.xoxopublishing.com/Products/=”. I hired Goddess Fish Promotions http://www.goddessfish.com/ and went on blog tours and review only tours. I found ways to have print and virtual advertising as well has read to an audience while climbing the steep virtual promotion learning curve. It is hard to transfer from the concrete world of print to the electronic published world.
I entered Moving On into contests. Did not win. I entered Moving On into the Saskatchewan Book Awards http://www.bookawards.sk.ca/index.php. The short list will be announced on February 14, 2013.
A short short story, Christmas Wishes http://www.amazon.com/Christmas-Wishes-ebook/dp/B00A6GGJY4/ was released by XoXo Publishing on November 6, 2012. I enjoy having this short little slice of an adult Christmas available to readers.

When my virtual tours conducted by Goddess Fish Promotions are complete on Tuesday, June 12, I will have had well over one hundred comments. I will have been a guest on twenty different blogs.

Following that the release of another book titled “Woman of Substance” by Soul Mate Publishing near the end of November or beginning of December of 2012 .

The tour is over but we have winners.
Over the ten days of visiting blogs I had one hundred and seventeen comments. I put the one hundred and seventeen names into a computer program called: Random. Org http://www.random.org/lists/ and it ran the list and the first name on the list was Catherine Lee. She followed my tour and posted often. She won the $25.00 Gift Certificate to All Romance E Books: www.allromanceebooks.com The winning post was from Books are Magic which was my first day on April 30, 2012. Vidya had forty-six readers drop by her site and comment over the two week period.
Vidya was the winner of the host with the most posts so she won a $10.00 gift certificate to Amazon.
May 2 at Live to Read had the next largest visitors at thirty over two weeks.
The other sites varied. Over the weekend I was happy not to think about me as author or Moving On-A Prairie Romance.
However on Monday I began to prepare for my next tour organized by Goddess Fish Promotions: www.goddessfish.com. I have a Virtual Review Tour which begins on May 21 to May 25. Five hosts of sites will review my book.
I am also on another tour called Name Before the Masses tour which also begins May 21 but the posts are weekly until June 11.
