My editor asked me to do a search and find for the word “walk” in Woman of Substance. I was also to replace some of those “walks”. I went on a thesaurus search. Some sentences could be changed using synonyms like amble, or meander or even ramble, saunter, stroll, or wander. I just could not find another descriptor when Jake left the man who was his father as he was dying until today when I discovered that when a character walks away he leaves.

When a character walks to somewhere he arrives. Perhaps my emphasis has been placed on the wrong verb. I await the second round of edits. My editor and I decided that we would take our time and present the best book possible.

Woman Of Substance is scheduled to be ready either the November 21 or 28. Soul Mate Publishers releases their new titles on Wednesdays.
