On Thursday, December 12, 2013 The Byrna Barclay Special Edition of TRANSiTiON was launched in Regina, Saskatchewan.
Byrna Barclay was the Editor-in chief of TRANSITION from 1983-2002.
Byrna published many of my short stories in this magazine along with many Saskatchewan Writers and works of art by Saskatchewan artists.
Ted Dych, Editor, called for submissions to this edition and I was proud to have my story “Dutch Treat” chosen for this special edition.
I also had an opportunity to read at the launch of this edition honouring a mentor, writer and friend who has assisted many writers and artists while also being an advocate for mental health.
Writer and photographer Shelley Banks was in attendance and took pictures of this event. http://latitudedrifts.blogspot.ca/2013/12/the-byrna-barclay-special-edition-of.html
